About the Courses

The FSI will be offering two diploma courses, namely the Cayman Islands Compliance Diploma (CCD) as well as the International Financial Services Diploma. Both programmes will run the length of 12-months and will be offered in partnership with local and international accredited bodies.

Both are jointly awarded by the FSI and International College of the Cayman Islands and certified by Modul University.

Key Features for 2024-25

Online Course Delivery

Both diplomas will be delivered through a flexible online format incorporating live or recorded zoom sessions to accommodate different learning preferences and schedules.

Accreditation

The FSI is now fully approved as a Post Compulsory Educational Institution by the Cayman Education Council, enabling Caymanians to apply for scholarships to pursue their diplomas.

Flexible Start Dates

While our diplomas officially begin on October 14th 2024 (Compliance Diploma) and October 16th 2024 (International Financial Services Diploma) we offer rolling admissions allowing students to start their diploma in any subsequent month, completing their studies 12 months from their start date.

Reduced Registration Fees

We are pleased to offer reduced registration fees for this academic year, now at CI$5,500 for each diploma programme.

The Cayman Islands Compliance Diploma (CCD)

October 2024 – 2025

The CCD is designed to improve career opportunities within the financial services industry for Caymanians and residents.

The CCD provides a comprehensive introduction to the anti-money laundering regulatory and compliance framework in the Cayman Islands.

The International Financial Services Diploma (IFSD)

October 2024 – 2025

The International Financial Services Diploma provides a comprehensive introduction to international financial services and its regulation, with a particular emphasis on the Cayman Islands.

The programme covers each of the key financial services as well as an introduction to regulation, taxation, and the global policy issues.
