Rudy D’Cunha

Rudy has over 20 years of experience in servicing a wide spectrum of financial services clients including investment fund, banks and insurance entities. He is a Managing Director of Apex Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd., which is part of the Apex Group.

His past work experience includes 12 years with KPMG (Bermuda) and EY (India and the Cayman Islands) providing assurance and advisory services to their financial services clients.

He worked with Nomura where he served as Vice President for 4 years leading the financial control and regulatory reporting functions for UK entities of Nomura. At Nomura he managed the EMEA regulatory reporting function managing the transition to CRDIV norms/Basel III norms. In his previous role with Nomura, he managed the financial reporting for the EMEA banking entity as well as the unregulated entities.

He also worked with Nassau Re (Cayman) Ltd. as its Treasurer and Head of Accounting for 3.5 years overseeing all financial accounting/reporting, tax reporting and treasury operations of offshore entities of Nassau group.

He is also passionate about teaching/coaching conducting sessions on various accounting concepts, regulatory reporting concepts, financial planning and life skills.
