Fiduciary Services Manager, Class A Bank
Leylah is a legal, fiduciary and financial services professional with a broad background of experience which includes working for a global Class A bank, a large multinational financial and fiduciary services firm, the public sector, an offshore boutique law firm and providing directorship services.
Currently she is a manager within the Fiduciary Services Department of a Class A Bank representing a Family Office client as a trustee and independent director, in addition to regulatory/compliance work for the department and onboarding new clients.
Well versed in the Cayman Islands’ financial services industry and its regulatory environment, Leyla is a Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) member/TEP, in addition to holding Masters level
qualifications in Law and Legal Practice. She is also a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and a qualified teacher (PG Dip Post Compulsory Education & Training).
As a former Senior Lecturer in Law of ten years standing, she has published in a number of international legal journals and collaborated with the Cayman Islands Government with respect to draft legislation, special projects and tribunal assistance.
