Modul University
Accreditation partner
Modul University is one of our accreditation partners. The FSI’s two Diploma programs, the Cayman Islands Compliance Diploma and the Diploma in International Financial Services, are both certified by Modul University. Modul is one of the largest private universities in Vienna and is over 100 years old. Modul is an international university for business and economics, with a strong research focus on international management, service-related industries, tourism, sustainability, data science, and the design of information systems. Modul’s focus on international Management, Sustainability, Governance and Tourism and Service Management makes it an ideal partner for the FSI and brings several positive synergies for the Cayman Islands generally.
Students who have successfully completed the FSI’s Diploma programmes will be awarded a certificate jointly signed by the FSI and Modul’s Director of Continuing Education.
Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists (ACFCS)
Accreditation partner
The ACFCS is one of our accreditation partners. All of the FSI’s AML compliance live webinar courses are accredited by the ACFCS. Students who successfully completed each course will receive 2 continuing education credits (CE) equivalent to CPE credit requirements from ACFCS.
The Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists (ACFCS) is a worldwide organization for private and public sector professionals who work in diverse financial crime disciplines, including anti-money laundering, FATCA-tax evasion, FCPA-corruption, fraud, data analytics and security, compliance, regulation and enforcement. ACFCS awards the Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) certification to qualified candidates who pass a proctored examination offered online and at authorized testing centers around the world. Professionals in the financial crime field from more than 50 countries have already obtained the CFCS certification.
International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI)

ICCI is our academic partner. ICCI is the Cayman Islands’ oldest college and is registered with and recognized by the Education Council of the Cayman Islands Government.
ICCI has partnered with the FSI to jointly issue the Cayman Islands Compliance Diploma and the International Financial Services Diploma.

Accreditation partner
The FSI is registered as a Post Compulsory Education Institution, approved by the Cayman Islands Government Ministry of Education’s, Education Council. This category includes institutions offering technical and vocational education and training (TVET), tertiary education, and other forms of further education designed to prepare individuals for various degrees, qualifications, or certifications. These institutions are regulated by the Ministry of Education to ensure compliance and quality standards. Educational institutions and institutions providing educational support services are governed by the Education Law, 2016 and the Education Regulations, 2017.
